PLAY CHESS IN LAS TERRENAS

Last September, Idir, Marion and Cosette started successfully the first Chess Club of Las Terrenas, a really appreciated initiative.
Idir, as mathematics teacher at the French school of Las Terrenas and a big chess player, wished to share a playful and educational experience and his passion of Chess game with children and adults, beginners or confirmed players.
 
The chess club, open to all, meets every Wednesday evening at the Cave a Vin of the Paseo, from 5pm to 8pm, preferably from 5pm for the novices and 6pm for the most experienced.

This group of players includes already 40 members, initiated players or in learning session, all passionate by these games of chess and to perform with players of all age and nationalities. In a next future, they are thinking organizing some friendly tournaments.

The annual membership is symbolic, child: RD$ 100, adult: RD$ 300, a very affordable fee to allow everyone to discover a new passion.
