Las Galeras

During the day the fishermen wait on the beach of Las Galeras to take visitors on a boat ride to other beaches of their choice. No less than 9 wonderful beaches surround Las Galeras: Playita, Caleton, Colorado, Esmeralda, Escondido, Rincon, Madame, Fronton and Playa del Amor. They are all delightful.

Playita can be reached on foot and on horseback ride or mountain bike you can enjoy the wonderful hills and admire impressive views of the bay. Diving into the natural aquarium created by Kaio Morito, a Japanese marine and wildlife biologist, who has managed to tame an impressive species of fish in a coral garden; is also a unique experience.

Gradually, Las Galeras is being developed and has new hotels, beautiful villas for rent, enough to delight you with the absolute tranquility for those who would like to stay in this tropical oasis.
