MICHEL BIZET Exhibition Pachamama, Las Terrenas

EXPOSITION PACHAMAMA … MOTHER EARTH

To celebrate World Earth Day in April, Michel Bizet revealed his works in the prestigious Museum of Las Casas Reales in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo. With the title of "Pachamama", the exhibition feataured thirty of his paintings, all dedicated to his inexhaustible passion for Nature.

Michel Bizet, a painter at the same time impressionist and abstract, interprets the force of Nature, "Mother Earth", with symbols, subtle use of colors, interplay of lights, oscillations in the painting that speak of the bond that unites us to her. The planet, the water, the earth, the light, the air, nature are all present in his sensory canvas. We immerse ourselves in his painting as we immerse ourselves in nature.

Michel proposes with his works a journey to the cradle of humanity, Mother Earth.

Upon his arrival to Las Terrenas in 1995, Mr. Bizet fell in love with the beaches, virgin nature, and the area's natural harmony. He quickly became passionate about the environment and global warming, and dedicated his immense ecological park "Los Parques" to the protection of nature and to the creation of the Michel Bizet Foundation, with its headquarters in Las Terrenas. He develops, together with specialists, diverse research on the use and protection of bees at this critical moment in the survival of this species in the world. In 2018, he was rewarded first prize in the national Honey contest, in the Amber Dark Honey category.
